How do you make RPA Technology easy to understand?

Definitely not by using big scary words such as robots, digitalization and automation. RRIA has big ambitions of becoming the largest automation company in Central Norway. Our goal with this campaign was to demystify and simplify how we speak about RPA-technology to potential clients. We did this by creating René, a personification of the RPA-robot. He is first and foremost a happy digital colleague who frees his human colleauges from boring and repetitive work.

RPA technology automates boring and repetitive tasks in order to increase productivity, reduce costs, and give human employees more time for what matters. In this campaign, we built a case around the onboarding of new employees, as preparing all the neccessary equipment, software, and accounts for the first day of work often is a complicated and inefficient process.

Meet René

René is the personification of the RPA software: He has a friendly personality and is, above all, meant to be like any other colleague, only digital. René is more than just a robot. He enjoys the time-consuming, repetitive, and resource-heavy tasks that others in the office find boring and frustrating.

Campaign movie

We developed a short animated film to be used in presentations, as well as on LinkedIn and other social media platforms. In the film, we’re introduced to common issues in the onboarding process and how René can make employees’ everyday work easier. I worked on storyboarding and scriptwriting, as well as illustrating and animating the final film.

Campaign page

The campaign page gives us deeper insight into René: who he is and what he can do. The page follows a simple structure, where short bits of information are interspersed with animations, illustrations, and videos. The variation and storytelling in the content result in a presentation that is easier to understand and engaging. 

Always end every presentation with a smile

Arild and the rest of the team at Ren Røros Intelligent Automation are always ready to help both new and existing customers. The campaign page ends with both eye contact and a smile, through an animation that encourages the viewer to get in touch.
