How do you make Automation easy to understand?

You start by stripping away the big, scary words. No robots, no digitalization, and definitely no "stealing jobs". Ren Røros Intelligent Automation (RRIA) is scaling fast in Central Norway, and they needed a way to talk to non technical potential clients that felt human.

We built the campaign around a universal headache: onboarding new employees. By showing how the manual grind of buying equipment, setting up software and accounts can be handled quietly behind the scenes, we turned a frustrating administrative mess into a warm welcome.

We created René to give automation a face and a personality. By framing the software as a "digital colleague" rather than a "robot," we made the technology approachable and supportive. René isn't there to replace anyone, he’s there to save his team from the boring administrative work that slows them down.

I led the creative production of a short animated film designed for presentations and social media. Handling everything from scriptwriting and storyboarding to the final illustration and animation, I focused on turning the relatable frustrations of onboarding into a clear, engaging story. The film introduces René as the solution, showing exactly how he clears the administrative clutter to make every day at work easier.

A campaign website acts as a deep dive into René’s world. I designed the page with a rhythmic structure: breaking up short, digestible insights with micro animations and illustrations. By prioritizing simple language and varied storytelling, we transformed a technical breakdown into an engaging experience for everyone.
